Rabbi Simeon Schreiber

Rabbi Simeon Schreiber is a graduate of Yeshiva College and received his ordination as an Orthodox Rabbi from the Theological Seminary of Yeshiva University. He is a member of the National Association of Jewish Chaplains and is a Board Certified Jewish Chaplain.

Rabbi Simeon Schreiber is the founder, director, and lead chaplain of Visiting Chaplain Services, Inc., a not for profit agency that provides spiritual care to anyone in spiritual or emotional distress. He is a Board-Certified Chaplain with over 30 years of experience in consoling the isolated elderly, ill and recovering patients, and concerned family members - human beings in need of emotional and spiritual support. He serves as the Senior Staff Chaplain at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, Florida, where he is responsible for the religious, spiritual and emotional needs of Jewish as well as non-Jewish patients, families and staff.

Rabbi Schreiber lectures often on the protocols of "The Shiva Call". He has authored a pamphlet, "The Shiva Call: A Guide to Comfort the Visitor and The Mourner”, and he also compiled, authored and edited a prayer book entitled "A Collection of Prayers and Meditations for Those Undergoing Medical Treatment" for Mount Sinai Medical Center.

Rabbi Schreiber lives in Bal Harbour, Florida with his wife, Rose. They are the proud parents of five children and proud grandparents of many grandchildren.
