Professor Richard Kaplan graduated with highest honors from Indiana University and earned his law degree from Yale University. He practiced law in Houston, Texas, specializing in U.S. tax consequences of international transactions. He has given lectures on U.S. taxation and tax policy in three continents as an internationally recognized expert, and on several occasions testified before the U.S. Congress. He has also written course books on income and international taxation.
