Dr. Kliegman was awarded his medical degree from the State University of New York at Downstate Medical Center in 1974. He trained as a pediatric intern and resident (1974-76) at The Babies Hospital, Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York. He is currently emeritus chair at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
