Mrs. Henya Laine, a world renowned teacher and speaker, is an expert on Jewish life, Family Purity, and raising children.
Henya was born during her family's escape from the German onslaught, traveling from Leningrad to Samarkand where she was born. After the war they lived in Paris for 7 years until the United States opened its borders to Jewish refugees. In Cleveland Rabbi and Mrs Shula Kazen were the pillars of the American and Russian communities. Their children were an important component in insuring the continuity of Jewish life in Cleveland.
Henya completed her education in New York at Beis Yaakov and in 1965 married Chaim Dovid Laine. Their eight children live with their families in the 4 corners of the world, as shluchim of the Lubavitcher Rebbe.
