I love myself; because you are so much like me, or you validate me, or I appreciate you, so I love you too. Rabbi Sholom Brodt references Tanya's Shaar Yichud V'Emunah and chapter 32, Perek Lev, to explain how and why we love every Jew. With deep meditation in the depths of our hearts, we can achieve that level of love.
