Everyone enjoys the holiday of Purim, its customs, food, costumes and masks. However, the day after Purim the children put their masks away while the adults don’t, as they continue to hide their insecurities, vulnerabilities and doubts, lest anyone find out who they really are and that they might be a little less confident than they seem.

Rabbi Abba Perelmuter explains why we need to be ourselves and not try to be someone else, because ultimately that’s the healthiest way to live.
