A home isn’t just bricks, mortar and the material furniture located within. A home is where one’s heart is, as well as where one can be comfortable and themselves, without the outer roles on plays in the outside world or the workplace. This is the kind of “home” God asked the Jews to build for Him with the Tabernacle, a place where we can build a strong relationship with the Almighty. In a similar way, our homes should also be our sanctuary, which is the result of a home built on peace, harmony and the pursuit of God’s ways and Mitzvot.
