Torah and science usually don’t mesh very well together—at least, this is the prevailing view. The Midrash, an ancient repository of rabbinic wisdom, suggests that when God created the world, He looked to the Torah to serve as its blueprint. If this is the case, shouldn’t the world have some resemblance to the blueprint—the Torah? In this short film, physicist Alexander Poltorak shows a glimpse of how modern ideas of quantum physics beautifully mesh with the ancient Torah.
