Bronya Slavin Shaffer was born in France and raised in Montreal where she attended Bais Yakov High School, Hebrew Teacher's Seminary, and Sir George Williams University.
Mrs. Shaffer mentors Jewish women, couples and adolescents, facilitates several women's self-awareness and support groups, and leads workshops on child-rearing and relationships. She speaks world-wide on intimacy, marriage, and women.
Mrs. Shaffer and her late husband, Rabbi Gedaliah, have ten children; the family lives in the Crown Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY.
