This lesson is part of a 5-part series of classes in a JLI Teens course given in Crown Heights, NY.
In lesson 4, Mrs. Shimona Tzukernik asks us to examine why we get angry at others. We are called to ask ourselves why we complain. What does it mean when we criticize others? Is it possible that criticism functions as a defense mechanism? Is it possible that when I criticize someone else that there is really something inside of me that I don't want to look at? This lessons gives us plenty to think about and gives the Chassidic take on criticism and self improvement.
