This class was given November 22, 2011 - 25 Cheshvan, 5772 (Parshat Toldot)

In this lecture, Rabbi Shmuel Braun uses the paradigm of Yakov and Esav to speak about the value of taking chances and pushing oneself in their service of G-d, despite a lack of certainty and peace of mind. Rabbi Braun poses the important question that one must ask themselves when they are confronted with an opportunity to take such a chance: “Is this going to connect me to G-d?”

Torah Revealed is a weekly Chassidut class given by Rabbi Shmuel Braun in Jerusalem, Israel.  The class explores fundamental questions on the current Torah portion and upcoming Jewish holidays.
