Rabbi Segal discuss a seemingly difficult passage in the Rambam with regard to a dough which is a blend of wheat and barley serving as the matsah with which one would fulfill the mitzvah of eating matsah on the first night of Passover.
 
The basis of this revolves around the taste of the dough giving it halachic properties as if it is actually what it tastes like although it is a blend.
