Kabbalistic Lessons on Love

The coming week holds the mysterious day of Tu B’Av, the 15th day of the Hebrew month of Av. Very little explanation exists regarding this day, outside of the fact that it was the day on which women of Jerusalem would go out to dance in the fields and any man who did not yet have a wife would go there to find a bride. According to the Talmud however, this day is considered greater even than Yom Kippur. Though it’s mystery remains yet uncovered, it’s significance in the Jewish calendar gives us a hint of the importance of relationships and marriage in the Jewish tradition. We bring you video insights into these topics and wish you a Shabbat Shalom!
