We’re free! In this week’s Torah portion, Bo, we read about the infamous plague of the firstborn which is commemorated for all time with the mitzvah of the “Redemption of the Firstborn” (Pidyon HaBen). After the drama of the ten plagues, G-d takes the Jewish people out of Egypt. So fast are they urged to leave, that there isn’t even time for their dough to rise. Hence, we now have the Mitzvah of eating matzah on Passover. The Torah portion concludes with the commandment to the Jewish people to wear tefillin. All of these fascinating topics are covered in our featured videos this week. Check out our favorite new videos and the weekly series as well!
