In this video, part 1 of a 3-part series, Mrs. Esther Hadassa Samuels, a Chinese herbalist, and acupuncturist, explains the functions of various organs and what happens when they are not functioning well. Mrs. Samuels compares our self-care to deposits in the bank and points out that for withdrawals to occur without negative results, we need to nurture and nourish ourselves physically, emotionally, and spiritually. She concludes with some practical words of advice, that every evening before retiring for the night, we should write five or six positive things that happened to us that day. This will instill within us the "good eye" that is so essential to happiness and well-being.
