At the age of 8, Rabbi Lau became the youngest survivor of the Nazi death camp, Buchenwald.
Despite his enormous suffering, Rabbi Lau is able to share profound and transformative messages gleaned from this torturous experience. In this video, Rabbi Lau speaks on the unique nature of the Jewish people as the “People of the Book.” While many nations have books, the Jewish people are a nation by function of our connection to the Book – the Torah. Rabbi Lau takes this unique identity of the Jewish people to share a parting message to his listeners.
