Chevron: A Story of Heartbreak and Hope

Rabbi Danny Cohen

Hebron. A city whose connection to the Jewish people is even older than that of Jerusalem, dating back to Abraham’s purchase of burial grounds for his wife, Sarah. Today, Jewish prayer can once again be heard at the Cave of the Patriarchs, and the Jewish community of Hebron has been reborn. Yet what does the future of this ancient city hold? Rabbi Danny Cohen serves as the Chabad representative in the city of Hebron, where he works to encourage and support those who have chosen to make their homes in the ancient city, and the many selfless soldiers who risk their lives every day defending it. Join him as he retells not only his story, but ours.
