Mother's Day

Is giving a chocolate, flowers or a dinner-out enough to express our deep appreciation for everything they have done for us? While there’s nothing wrong with doing any of the above, the most important thing is to actually convey to them our deep feelings of love and gratitude to them. In addition, by making our lives a good, wholesome and meaningful one, it will be a tribute to them. In Judaism there’s no holiday called “Mother’s Day”, for the simple reason that every day is Mother’s Day (and Father’s Day), it’s actually one of the Ten Commandments which applies 24/7.
