During the coming week we will celebrate Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish new year. Spanning two days, Rosh Hashanah is a time for renewal in our relationship with G-d. Each year, the Jewish people accept G-d as their King once again, and in turn, G-d introduces a new energy into the world, blessing it with all its sustenance for the coming year. The sounding of the shofar is the central observance of Rosh Hashanah. The blasts of the shofar hold many meanings. Its trumpeting sound represents the coronation of G-d as our King. Its simple cry is also symbolic of our unmitigated desire to return to Him in repentance. In preparation for Rosh Hashanah, we hope you enjoy this wide array of videos which cover the varied aspects of the festival. We wish you and your family a good and sweet new year filled with only blessing.
