This week’s Torah portion, Masei, recounts the 42 journeys that the Israelites took through the desert from the exodus of Egypt until entering the land of Israel. The inner dimension of Torah teaches us that these 42 journeys exist in the life of every Jewish person. Life is growth; we strive to develop out of the “slave identity” of Egypt into Eretz Yisrael Jews. Wishing you a Shabbat of growth!
